Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This travel opportunity is ideal for experienced clinical pharmacists seeking a diverse and impactful role in a culturally rich setting. The position is based at a regional health center serving a broad community and offers a chance to engage in comprehensive medication management across a wide patient demographic, including neo-natal to geriatric populations, as well as specialty areas such as oncology and obstetrics.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical pharmacy services in outpatient and inpatient settings at the Echo Cliffs Health Center, located in Bodaway Gap, AZ.
  • Manage medication therapy and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
  • Deliver direct patient care across diverse age groups and medical specialties.
  • Participate in rotational shifts covering days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Opportunity to advance through tiered pharmacist roles leading to Advanced Practice Pharmacist positions with added responsibilities including clinical program development and clinic operations management.
  • Supervise pharmacy staff including pharmacists, technicians, assistants, and billers.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited institution.
  • Current, unrestricted pharmacy license in any US state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Minimum two years’ experience as a Registered Pharmacist.
  • At least one year of clinical pharmacist experience.
  • Ability to undergo and clear fingerprinting prior to start.

Location: Bodaway Gap, AZ, with rotation through Echo Cliffs Health Center.

This 13-week travel contract begins November 16 and provides an enriching professional experience serving a diverse population including Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute communities. The role encourages clinical expertise growth within a supportive and mission-driven environment.
